International Academy of Applied Kinesiology (AK)

De Jarnette Course

The De Jarnette Course is an intensive training program aimed at practicing osteopaths who wish to integrate De Jarnette wedges into their clinical practice within a structured neurological-clinical rationale.

The course addresses in a practical and systematic way the three categories, entry tests, characteristic triggers, and the operational connection with applied kinesiology, providing tools that can be immediately used in patient evaluation and treatment.

A specific focus is dedicated to reviewing TL and challenge, to ensure methodological consistency and precision in clinical application.

Why this course is relevant for an experienced professional:

If you are already working in the osteopathic field, you know that the difference is not made by the number of techniques, but by the clarity of the clinical rationale with which you choose when and why to apply them.

The De Jarnette method, if properly understood, allows you to:

  • refine the neurological assessment of the patient,
  • improve the selection of therapeutic inputs,
  • reduce redundant or poorly targeted interventions,
  • integrate tests, challenges, and treatment in a coherent manner.
This course is not a theoretical introduction, but an opportunity to reorganize and strengthen existing skills, placing them within a more precise and replicable clinical structure. For those who work daily with complex patients, it is an update that focuses on the quality of clinical reasoning, not on adding new “procedures.”
