Founded as the Italian Association of Applied Kinesiology in 1984 by Dr. Jean-Pierre Meersseman, Dr. Riccardo Legnani, and Dr. Massimo Pandiani.
We premise that Applied Kinesiology uses manual testing to evaluate body functions by leveraging the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system. This allows for prevention, diagnosis, and therapy using a natural, repeatable, and non-harmful method. In particular, applied kinesiology detects interactions among numerous factors, structured in a triad called the “triangle of health,” whose sides respectively represent emotional, structural, and chemical factors.
A.I.K.A. (International Academy of Applied Kinesiology) is, by social statute, an association whose fundamental purpose is the implementation of initiatives of scientific and social interest among Members, aimed at increasing studies and research on applied kinesiology. It promotes, through specific seminars, the meeting and dialogue between different fields of cultural interest, fostering information to all those who apply, develop, and benefit from this healing art.
At the end of each seminar, a certificate of attendance was issued, as proof of the member’s actual participation. During the seminars, proceedings were distributed that collect and systematize the interventions, allowing participants to independently continue the study and experimentation of the acquired notions.
